Tesco/Asda Pricechecker Thread - part 4

I mean if I have more than one online account, could I use a DTD voucher from account 1 on a delivery from account 3?
Would they be able to tell that the voucher is from a different account? If you don’t speculate, you can’t accumulate. :beer:0 -
No worries - I understand now.
I was trying to get to the bottom of the 'over the limit' e-mails people were getting the other day using some data that people had given towards the end of thread 3 at an unearthly hour last weekend when pretty much only me and Stebiz were online and one of the possibilities I thought of was that there were some tracking cookies as an outside guess but defo not their current tactic (and I think they would have to declare this under DPA rules on the T&C's if they did) but I was just clarifying the research I'd done had drawn a blank.
In short, I reckon we're currently safe on that front and I still strongly believe the 'over the limit' e-mail kicks in when the first voucher to kick off any new set of spends combined with the total value of other spends is based on a £50 uncapped ASDA value.
Sounds overly complicated but don't think the 'over the limit' issue has been as prevalent as it was earlier in the DTD days so probably a non-issue now.
Simons theory seems to tie in with most of whats been happening - personally, I reckon he's right and, even if he's not and Tesco have something else up their tatty sleeves, then its simple enough to do what Simons has suggested. I've been clearing cookies each time (tiny bit of a nuisance as I have to sign in here each time but hardly a problem) and I am also adding in the first receipt total used on new addys. Can't do any harm and might do a lot of good.
So far, everything is working well - I hope I've not just jinxed myself by saying that! Thanks for the useful suggestions Simon.
I agree that they seem to be using the actual Asda price match to hit the £100 limit rather than the voucher value. This being the case, I wonder if submitting receipts that will result in Tesco being cheaper would come off the total (not willing to try, but just wondering what computer logic they are using!).

SS update
Lake district cheddar went through as 2 for £5, no SEL for it.
Also I am pretty sure the N/A of Lake district cheese is for the extra mature. I will confirm as I have bought just mature.
*Possible Deal*
Nestle Smarties Egg 90g Mr T £2.00 Mr A £1.00
But only buy 1 or 2 as 3 for £3.00 in Mr T
I was going to buy the smarties eggs but after being taken to CS again to put through transactions, i felt going back in would be pushing it. I will try to get these, but i do not know when I will next grace them with my presence. Hopefully tomorrow or Tues.0 -

SS Update
YOUNGS 4 COD STEAKS IN BUTTERSAUCE
Now £2 (half price) in Tesco, so same as Asda.
Incidentally, are the SS updaters/others keeping a backup of products that are now price matched/offers on in Tesco etc? I ask as if they match now, when the offer ends it is likely that the DTD will be back on them.

I've only used a voucher in the huge Tescos at Kingston Park (just off the A1) and they're pretty good, just scanned my voucher no problems at all0
