I used a few shops last week , and got in a bit of a muddle with which ones I used etc.

Have whittled it down to one £20 voucher with receipt which I am 90% sure I have not used. (the till ops dont bother signing in my one)

If I go , and I am wrong and have used it , I assume the till on the computer will reject it? is that right?

Just for the record, I only wish to use my voucher and receipt once, not make an attempt to game the system.

No one knows what would happen if you use a voucher twice.

Too risky to even try IMO.

You can phone head office and they will tell you if the receipt has been used.
This is what they do in store if they think there is a problem - or if there is a problem - iygwim. Although being a weekend you may have to wait till monday ?

what about the people who collect old receipts , they could have been used and discarded unsigned.

    somebody will know.

I was just thinking - I bet my shopping looked really bizarre last night.

A £9.49 bottle of wine, some cereal and lots of value baked beans! I obviously want to spend more on posh wine than I do on feeding myself :-P

Lets remember, most of the Tesco's staff are really nice people. I bought 3 energy light bulbs last night, paid for them and then I realised that they were twice the SEL price. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. They rang the duty manager, gave me my money back AND 3 free light bulbs! What a great result! :T:T

Thats store policy. They give you a bribe of double the difference of the overcharge so that you don't tell trading standards.

True.....but that wouldn't be your problem would it.

If you have any doubts at all don't use it. But it's up to you of course.

    Spotted but Not Confirmed:

Aero Bubbles (Original) : Tesco £1.79 Asda £1.50
Aero Bubbles (Mint) : Tesco £1.79 Asda £1.50

The descriptions are slightly different so may not match.
    Galaxy Counters 140g: Tesco £1.88 Asda £1.50
    Maltesers 135g pouch : Tesco £1.89 Asda £1.50
I'll be able to confirm maltesers and mint bubbles when vouchers come in tomorrow.

There may be other pouches too as most seem to be £1.50 at Asda and more at Tesco.

Forgot to mention, when in the local metro using one of my vouchers, the SA said "oh thats good, wish I knew how to pick the right bits" so I whispered that some very nice people posted a list online, to which she grabbed a bit of reciept paper and a pen and asked me to write down where. She then looked over her shoulder to check noone was watching and slid the address into her back pocket!

Bless her, they are not all trouts!

Why did she have to check that one of the monkey's was watching?
