Oh believe me you WONT BE MISSED!!! There is already a "no chat" thread if you bothered to look for it!

Some people they want jam on it as well!!!

It no use emailing your query to Tesco incase any one wants to email them - Re: their system failed to trace your receipt. I got this :-

Thank you for your email to Philip Clarke our Chief Executive, to which I have been asked to respond. I was concerned to learn that you have experienced some problems, whilst attempting to use our Price Check website. I appreciate why you would be unhappy and I apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Regrettably, whilst our system is as comprehensive as possible, there are some rare occasions where we are unable to find the receipt details. This is unfortunate and I am very sorry that you have been disappointed. However, I am sorry to say that if your receipt is not recoverable by our system, that we will be unable to conduct a comparison in this instance. I am sorry that you have not been able to compare the attached receipts. I will log your complaint and ensure that it is available for the relevant departments to view. Thank you once again for bringing this matter to the attention of our Chief Executive's Office. I am very sorry that I cannot assist you any further.

I just leave it as it is now. Did not bother to reply to their email, in fact I had to retrieve it out from my delete bin to post the above :D

I remember seeing that reply when you posted it before but thanks for reposting, i'd forgotten how unhelpful they were!

It probably depends how many receipt details they are losing, if it is just the odd few, then I can accept that.
If it is, for example 10% then it could be saving them a very large amount of money. Then I think the ASA would be very interested.
  • can I ask, did anyone recieve vouchers yesterday for any date?

    Am I just being paranoid?

Also, as asda nicely put all of there offers on the end of the aisle (Dairylea, Yoghurts, meat etc.) to save searching the websites endlessly, I am going to head to asda to see whats on offers armed with a pen and paper to see what they have been replaced with. Will report back with comparisons later.

Got to start a fresh one today and spend money without using a dtd voucher, is it ok to use clubcard vouchers (might double up to health and beauty) or is it advisable to avoid using the clubcard vouchers all togather?

Anyone got opinions on this. :undecided

  • I've been doing this for a while and haven't once got the pancake mix, I feel left out lol

I prefer the salmon over the pancake mix haha

And I only got my first one yesterday. Gutted!! Nevermind, they may still pricecheck it to yesterdays price as that was when I bought it.

I'd recommend double checking the asda site, betty still shows at 25p on MS

Agreed. We've even added this to the top of the spreadsheet. Check Asda website before you leave and check shelf edge in Tesco.

Got some vouchers yesterday but am still waiting for 9 off them to come through. Not only my shopping I like to add. Fingers crossed they will come shortly as I am going out in a minute.

There have been many debates regarding whether you should or not but I don't because:

That first DTD voucher would be linked to you receipt which is also linked to your clubcard. On that basis any further DTD vouchers obtained from that first voucher could be linked to your clubcard.

It is up to you but I personally wouldn't.
