Why has these Tesco threads been ruined ??? People chit chatting about where to buy clothes, fraud etc..its all ridiculous and has got out of control. I for one will be leaving this forum if this continues.

Oh believe me you WONT BE MISSED!!! There is already a "no chat" thread if you bothered to look for it!
I don't know where you've been for the last 3 weeks but did you not realise this was a combo of chat and finds. If you want the 'no chat only' thread, you'll find it on the grabbits board! I think what you need to be saying is I don't want to read it, not no-one wants to read it. And your upsetting news that you'll be leaving the forum if it continues although paining my heart a little at the moment, will be lessened over time I'm sure! Do some legwork honey!

Some people they want jam on it as well!!!

Have you tried adding pricecheck@tesco.co.uk to your Whitelist in your email service and checked your spam folders.

It no use emailing your query to Tesco incase any one wants to email them - Re: their system failed to trace your receipt. I got this :-

Thank you for your email to Philip Clarke our Chief Executive, to which I have been asked to respond. I was concerned to learn that you have experienced some problems, whilst attempting to use our Price Check website. I appreciate why you would be unhappy and I apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Regrettably, whilst our system is as comprehensive as possible, there are some rare occasions where we are unable to find the receipt details. This is unfortunate and I am very sorry that you have been disappointed. However, I am sorry to say that if your receipt is not recoverable by our system, that we will be unable to conduct a comparison in this instance. I am sorry that you have not been able to compare the attached receipts. I will log your complaint and ensure that it is available for the relevant departments to view. Thank you once again for bringing this matter to the attention of our Chief Executive's Office. I am very sorry that I cannot assist you any further.

I just leave it as it is now. Did not bother to reply to their email, in fact I had to retrieve it out from my delete bin to post the above :D

I have to get shopping delivered as I'm laid up with a broken foot.

Is this the correct leg of lamb?

I'm thinking of getting the £10.78 size.

thats the one...but you should get the next size up...i think the comparison only works between 1.7kg and 3kg :)

Yeah 10,000 posts are being logged, but 3/4 of this is full of useless info.
Can we just go back to logging our finds and informing each other...
I for one will be leaving this forum if this continues.
I dont want to read worst case scenarios of "oh they have cctv", "Oh i have no money and need kids clothes"....you get my drift..
Noone wants to read this!!! No one cares!!!!

What a horrid person - this is a thread for chatting on, and so we chat!:T It is nice to read about others experiences to be prepared for what may occur. What is wrong with exchange of ideas?

I couldn't agree more. It's the banter, chit-chat and us-against-them mentality that I love about this whole thing. Free entertainment as well as free food :D

thats not true...i for one love the banter on here and enjoy hearing about how this has helped people...i think that for you to say that no one cares if people are poor with no clothes for their children is harsh and cruel. and i dont think this is the place to be speaking like that. were all sharing our experiances to help each other. if you dont want to be part of that then i suggest you find a different forum which is more to your liking.
