  • Just noticed that Asda have changed from NZ lamb racks to British.
Tesco are still supplying NZ lamb racks.
This could mean that a DTD could come back as n/f now.

  • My dad does his weekly shop at either Asda or Tesco - depending on where he's working on a Friday. When I was showing him how to do the price checks I was amazed that the Asda one came back instantly!! Is this what happens when you do it?

If I did a shop today the earliest I can enter a receipt for Asda would be 6 the following morning - but it does come up instantly hth

  • Do us a favour though and refrain from bleating on here when store security flag you up for abuse and you get confronted by the store manager as others have done.

You could at least try and be subtle if you wish to flagrantly break the T&C's in that way, its not that hard.

    Exactly!

Stores can refuse taking vouchers from you if they think you are abusing the spirit of the deal, and especially if you flagrantly flout the t's and c's of redeeming one voucher per day.

Wouldn't be surprised to see some stores refusing to accept any vouchers from specific individuals in the near future (as is their right). Of course if you choose to shop at multiple stores then this is down to you.

I always ensure i have my normal shopping mixed in with the DTD stuff - as its very easy to see that you got a £20 voucher from the previous £22 shop, and again you are using it against this £22 shop, which has identical items :)

In one of our local Tescos tonight, my OH used one of the vouchers upstairs in the clothes section, just to buy our youngest a few bits for our forthcoming jolly to Majorca.

Anyway, we goes up to the paydesk and behind it there's a proper nasty-looking trout. She must have been 60 if she was a day (not that age is anything to do with it), frowning at everyone and everything and had a pair of HUGE glasses hanging round her neck down her front, a la John Inman.

We put the clothes on the desk, she rings them through and then I give her the voucher (clothes came to £21, voucher for £18).

    She says - "What's this?"

I say "It's a voucher towards the cost. From the DTD promo."

    She says "What's that?"

I explain away, as quick as poss, and she nods, frowns, nods again, frowns.

She then says " Ooh, I could do with this then because..." and goes off on one long story about her hubby being made redundant from the local council after 35 years, her son ripping them off to the tune of £15k, they have remortgage debts of about 20k, she has a dodgy heart and a few other tales of woh.

By the time she bagged the clothes up I felt like Clare flipping Rayner.

She blew a kiss to our sprog, thanked us for listening to her as she felt "better now she has spoken to someone" and said she was going to buy some lamb and pancake mix after her shift and have a go herself!

Moral of the story: God knows. Maybe "Don't judge a Trout by its pout"?

Just thought I'd share that one.

    60??? OMG :eek::eek:

I think I'll shoot myself now... ;) :rotfl:

You must have something special about you for her to open up like that...it's a compliment. :A

    Morning all!

Eagerly awaiting today's vouchers, hope they arrive by lunchtime!

Yahoo!!! Going to try these today. :D

You wouldn't have had any DTD anyway. The fools - paying £52 for Bacardi that they could have had for about £12!!!:eek::eek::eek:

Eeek @ the measurements! :rotfl:I don't know how to convert fluid ounces to millilitres (although I can convert 'weight' ounces to grammes), but would love to make this! I love ginger beer too, it's so much nicer than ginger ale.

Right, off to catch up some more...
Use any measurement, ie egg cup + egg cup + 4 egg cups.
big scoosh + big scoosh + huge scoosh.
Its very much up to your taste, Im not that keen on lime so I would only have a small measure of it and more of the ginger.
Loads of ice, a deck chair and some sun, heavenly.
Love your Mum, you'll never get another one when she's gone.

    vouchers in

    A WHILE :-)
  • hi
its been asked a few times b ut I cannot see the answer, this site is rapidly taking up too much of my time !!

Once you reach 4 shops, are you then killing the receipt and starting again with £20 cash or simply registering the 4th voucher under a different email address and changing each 4 times?

thanks to everyone who has helped update the spreadsheet which has helped us in these hard times...

Why do people talk of 4 shops? You can do 10 DTD requests per month cant you?
