Just a couple of questions from a Fresher!!! I used my DTD voucher today and was asked to hand over my matching receipt and the cashier stapled it to the coupon and retained. However yesterday the girl just signed the receipt and gave it back to me. Which is the correct process please?

Secondly I attempted to enter my receipt details today and the date on the receipt was 14/04/01 and I had a message stating that this date is too early. Therefore I had to enter 14/04/11to get it through, do you think this will have an impact on the comparison decision.

    Thank you al in advance
Hi one of my receipts also had 01. I also entered 11 & came back ok the next day so don't worry!:T
  • HORRIBLE HORRIBLE LOWESTOFT TESCOS........
i had a really big row,all was fin until i produced my voucher TROUT tutted and huffed pressed her button and said i have to call this in (WHAT SHE THINK SHES THE POLICE DOES SHE) along came sa checked it and said its fine,as she handed it back TROUT SAID im so sick of these blimming vouchers i hope they stop doing them soon,sa replied oh yea dont you worry about that they will, she then walked of leaving me with TROUT i totally lost it and stuck my head over the counter and said do you really think you should talk like that in front of customers,reply...well im sick of it....i asked her for her surname told her i will complain to head office, and i shall be back for my public apology and a 10 pound voucher , she just pulled a face at me and refused to let me have her surname..by the way anyone shopping in lowestoft tesco be careful as they are now following the rule of calling sa for each voucher,TROUT tried to tell me all tescos are doing it the same way,i said well what are you all then a load of monkey that cant use there eyes to see if some numbers match.her name was miya by the way avoid her at all costs she was in her 50s,i then went on to great yarmouth feeling very angry and wound up and nervous that it would be the same there, but it wasnt and they were as nice as can be...........
Oh no total not enough for voucher.......quick run..go find something...come onlook harder...your holding up the ques..just grab something..anything everyones looking....

I've done a lot of printing over the last few days IYKWIM, but having printed out my latest voucher I found all my colours have run out and it's only printed in black. Is that acceptable to Tesco or am I likely to come across a problem?

I always print in b&w and haven't had an issue.

If I've used my clubcard surely they could verify it - should i go to customer service first - that way avoid an embarrassing row at til???
Thanks so much to all of you - this is just a great site - i see myself getting addicted to alot of these forums lol :rotfl:

catching up so sorry if already been answered, but that is exactly what i did when i got my first voucher, i acted all innocent and went to customer services, , showed the voucher and asked what do i do with it, they just said, do your shopping and hand it in at the till.... so, now when i shop, if i get a SA that aint seen a voucher before, i still use the same line.........." oh, i have been to customer services and they just said that you scan it and use it as a normal coupon."..... works every time, and also, if the Checkout team leader is called over and you do end up at Customer Sercices, at least they already know, and they are going to make the Team leader look a fool and not yourself.

Not an issue. You could put mynamesgordonbrown@wasnumber10.com and it would still let you view. ;)You should be safe.

How can you log in to view? I've had emails about mine but none for my OH, and can't see a way to log in and view receipts without having had an email?
    TIA

I was asked today to go to customer services so they could "check" my voucher. They phoned head office to verify but needed me to confirm my email address. If you are using multiple email address it may be an idea to write the email on the back of the receipt, just in case :)

Did you know which email address you have used?
