Tesco/Asda Pricechecker Thread - part 4

I'd like to say the spreadsheet as it grows is getting less and less easier to list items buy their 'profit' /cost i.e. low cost or profit items on top.
I normally saved spreadsheet and did a sort by the value column but now cant as when i saved it it complains about merged cells. Just a thought that some of us arent bothered if we can buy something at 90% of the price... we want 20% and under.0 -

We spend a huge deal of time each day updating the SS; most of us have jobs/babies/kids etc and do it on a voluntary basis. It was moved away from a Google docs sheet as we were not able to supply the demand people needed to it, and it meant we were not able to update it as there was a limit on the number of people allowed on.
If you wish to make your own version for your own purposes, then please feel free to copy the contents and do so on your own computer.0 -
The live spreadsheet is alive and kicking. As big, if not bigger, than ever. However we have had a few requests to make the downloadable one available again. This is a snap shot at a given time of the live one.
I love the live spreadsheet - thanks Steve you are a master genius of the spreadsheet!0 -
The rudeness of some people on here astounds me - do we know how many are in that persons household - I know in mine - those pizzas would soon be eaten!!!;)
Are they the twinpacks of smallish Chicago Town pizzas? In our household you'd need 5 boxes to feed everyone for just one meal, so that quantity really wouldn't last long at all!
And I'm sure 'expired' toothpaste will be fine, it's perfectly possible to brush effectively without toothpaste at all, we just like the minty foaming part to make it taste fresh and feel like we're doing a better job of cleaning.0 -
I'm sorry but, well, tough. Do you have any idea how much work is involved in the spreadsheets and keeping it up to date? You are being provided with a ready made list of deals in several formats. You could always use the online version and write a list?
You are coming across as extremely rude and ungrateful. We're trying to make the updating as easy a task as possible, we all have jobs, studies, kids, LIVES and of course, Tesco shopping to attend to!

i don't understand why it needed to change so perhaps someone could explain why it makes it easier this way? whoever was dealing with the ss before stebiz obviously didn't have a problem with doing it that way so by changing it to a way that some people won't be able to make they're own shopping lists from it doesn't make sense to me:beer: Happy Bargain Hunting!! :beer:0 -
