It must be soul destroying to go through the hundreds of pages here every day. When this started up I doubt anyone here thought that we would still be dtding now. Perhaps a message repeated every few pages here asking everyone to use the other thread for lists, and requested changes? Lists can still be posted here with any discussion but copied to the info only thread. Editors could then just concentrate on that thread.
Why not just say whenever someone wants to list a found possible STD or a price change must do it in red nobody else can use red then the hard workers can scroll quickly just looking for the redIM A DTDER ADDICT0 -

Look at him, he obviously has good looks, charm, wit etc.
What normal girl would say no to a stud like that?

To get customers flocking to them with devotion,
We'll compare all your baskets to Asda, they said
And if we're too dear give you double the bread.
So the promo began with trumpets and fanfare,
The posters were printed and hung with great care
Proud of their fabulous ingenios idea,
The bosses waited for their profits to appear.
Mse were quick to take up the cause
Cheaper than asda? Are you really sure?
We'll use your price checker and see what we find
Oh look here's some 'free' Turners wine!
And racks of finest lamb from you?
Well really, for free, don't mind if I do!
I'd love some goose fat roast poatoes
if you throw in some beef I'll let everyone know!
well this isn't quite what Tesco had in mind
so they started to remove all the signs.
They moniotored e-mails and in a deperate bid
capped the vouchers at twenty quid.
Nae problemo their followers said
we'll split our shops in two instead
then we can still reap the full benefit
and you can pat us on the back for all our wit!
Well the boss had no option but to agree,
the promotion is so successful you see,
'Customers are flocking through the door
we have the market share like never before!
'never mind that profits might not be soaring,
accountancy and figures, well that's just boring!
The people are here, shopping with us,
for themselvelves, their nan and great uncle Gus!
Yes really the promo's a great success,
For Gladys and Helga and even Stebiz!
Now camera stop rolling, I'm really tired
Head of IT, You're FIRED!'
Thats awesome, luv it :money:0 -
