Thank you for your constructive comments. I have been through all 3 mistakes that you pointed out and have corrected them. Someone had been typing the Net cost and DTD prices in rather than leaving it up to the sums, so I have recopied them over.

Please appreciate however (and I realise you may not as I don't know how long you have been on the board); and I can't speak for the other editors; but I have a full time job and a 3 year old to look after. That being said, I still updated near on 1000 entries today by the time I checked prices, changed prices, crossed out deals; added comments etc to the sheet.

I find it very time consuming at the moment. We also have to pick through posts trying to find relevant info; decide when to believe someone's price correction and when not to, etc. And I've even missed days of DTD shopping where I've just been updating the SS! :D

We have all chosen to help out, but a little patience would be appreciated for all those editors involved, along with very clear posts like those I have posted before to help us pick our way through quicker. Thanks to all the editors! :T

didnt mean to sound grumpy...i think the work your doing is amazing....i wouldnt be able to do it....three cheers for all involved :T:T:T:A

Just to agree with this - we aren't paid to do this, we're being helpful! I'm also juggling my final uni work and a 10 month old.

    We're doing our best

I pointed a friend to the spreadsheet yesterday and he couldn't believe you were all unpaid people doing this.

i was then telling him how it was like a mini software house with all the 'users' on here asking for extra features like pictures and comments and then there were bugs like the issue with access which was solved - puts Microsoft to shame really how quickly you guys responded to all these requests and sorted out the bugs:p

I'm wondering if the no chat thread should be the one where we put any changes/things that need corrected? That must make it easier for the editors. It must be soul destroying to go through the hundreds of pages here every day. When this started up I doubt anyone here thought that we would still be dtding now. Perhaps a message repeated every few pages here asking everyone to use the other thread for lists, and requested changes? Lists can still be posted here with any discussion but copied to the info only thread. Editors could then just concentrate on that thread.

yeah definitely. it would be interesting to see, once the smoke clears in whenever weeks/months time this is all over just what is made of everything, how much theyve lost (if anything in the extra traffic) and how many free cups of coffee i'll have for rest of the year!.. i think it has to be the biggest grabbit ive ever seen on here and im assuming the most popular right?

I have been a lurker on here for a couple of years, but joined when the Debenhams vouchers were on, thought it wouldn't get any better than that (for me personally anyway).

But this has to be THE BEST GRABBIT EVER!!!

This promotion has changed the lives of alot of people (for the time being), I think alot of people will have a good year out of this, by stocking up on things.
