    Morning bit late today but I have managed to clean the house up and do all washing :D
    Does anybody know if I can print the spreadsheet off?
    Thanks

    you can download the static one and print it off.

    Since I found this thread I'm too busy calculating, comparing, comparing and shopping to clean the house - it looks like I've been burgled!

    Spreadsheet
    Don't think its been mentioned before and I couldn't spot it on there but may have been being dim

    Wilkinson Sword Hydro 5 Razor
    T = £.8.19
    A = £3.99
    DTD = £8.40
    Cost = -£0.21

    Also Wilinson sword precision trimmer seems to be £8.60 in Ts now rather than £6.79 as shown on s/s

    well done, the woman's bikini one should work too! :)
  • forgot to mention guys.....
    last night whilst at the checkout... the guy in front of me had purchased a £1.50 toy and had been charged £18.xx for it, so would be a fantastic DTD via CS desk if anyone wants to try it whilst on their travels today..... ( buy seperately of course )
    The toy was a die cast Tesco HGV Truck in navy blue with the words TESCO written on it, it was pointless me going to have a look last night as the guy had questioned the price at the till!! plus i had my grandaughter with me who was getting restless so just wanted to go home.
    can some guys that have the scan machines instore take a look out for this item, and report back please.
    TIA

  • Does anyone feel my pain, I go to get a cornetto enigma last night and my freezer in the garage HAS BROKE!!!:eek::eek::eek::eek: all my food has defrosted.....cant even use it as dont know when it happened...gutted

    cheap freezers anywhere guys?
    hi Bargainhuntergill - was your meat cold ie 'fridge cold' when you opened it? I am guessing that it's a lot of lamb lol and that you may have frozen it on the day of purchase?!;) Check the 'best before' date and if it is a week after the date you purchased it then it means that the meat could have sat in your fridge for a week before eating it - hope this makes sense. So if your freezer was fridge cold then it would have in effect been in a fridge for a week.

    If so then I personally would cook it, but this is only what I would do and I understand not everyone is comfortable with defrosted food/expiry dates etc etc.

    A wee tip for anyone going on hol and worried about their freezer - put some icecubes in a bowl in the freezer. If the freezer packs in then the ice will melt - if it then works again you will come home to a bowl shaped icecube. As you should never refreeze stuff you'll know not to eat it. And if the icecubes are slightly melted then you'll know roughly how long it's not been working for. Again, I hope this makes sense and yes yes, stable door, horse bolted etc etc!
    (sorry for lenght of post but would hate to think of all that very expensive:rotfl:meat going to waste)

    Spreadsheet Update - Branston Beans 4 pack now £2.00 at Asda instead of £1.50. Still a small DTD but not as good as before.
