    hello peeps just had an horrendous experience at the glynde gap store in bexhill, had my shopping put thru till and produced my voucher, young lad says" i need to call my manager" who comes over takes one look at the voucher and literally shouts " we cant take that there is a scam going on" :eek: everybody in the que and at the nearby tills turns and looks at me! I said i can assure you this voucher is legitimate and she marchs me to the cs desk and continues to tell me in a very loud voice with people staring as they walk past that the scam is people are deliberatly targeting stuff that they know is cheaper in asda and that theyve had one person in every day doing it (mymerrywidow hope it wasnt you that got the same treatment this afternoon) and that you cant use a reciept that has already been paid with a voucher. so i tell her that i havent broken the t&c and to call head office,she tries and says she cant get through then tells me theyve had to alert the other stores of the scam. after much deliberation and me refuseing to budge on the fact that i am not a scammer she eventually puts my shopping through on a recalled transaction and signs my new reciept :eek: so i drive to the next store fuming use my other voucher with no problems then get home fone the bexhill store and get her name ready to complain tomoro. phew feel better for a rant :D what a complete trout she had no idea what she was talking about

    Brilliant... I had a crappy day at work so on the way back took my frustraition out on tesco with a 20 voucher spend then back in for another... the misses got back to an empty box of magnums and her bodyt weight in silverside in the fridge and looked at me in a very disapproving way...luckily ive started to hide the pancake mixes where she can't find them... ive got so many now i'm thinking of donating them to the homeless shelters..:rotfl::rotfl:

    I find myselff buying these kind of items just because tesco are essentially paying me to have them... but I then get bored and try them..
    I'll probably look great playing rugby at the weekend with no armpit hair... but im not looking forward to the shower after...think i'll have some explaining to do.
    :rotfl::rotfl:

    dancegirl2.gifOne of the SS updater's did request earlier that posts for the SS should be in red/stand outdancegirl2.gif

    For what it's worth. The most helpful to the SS team is to post on

    Saves us all having to scour through every post on here. By all means chat away and post, but might be worth a duplicate post on the other thread. :)

    Cashier spotted on a shop I sent OH out to do that I had got the voucher from a leg of lamb and again was buying a leg of lamb. My OH does not mince his words and politely told her ''yep, and I will get another if they are over charging me again for this one, it would be rude not too''.

    She did not reply!:rotfl:

    My new freezer is filling up nicely now as well.
  • Just got back from doing a 'normal' tesco shop and used my dtd voucher, the sa had to call over someone who said they need to keep the original reciept and stapled it to the dtd voucher.

    Anyone had this? Thought they were supposed to sign it and give it back?

    I said it was fine as I'm not exactly going to return a whole leg of lamb and a box of cornettos!:rotfl:

    That's what I'm doing with the pancake mixes, to add to my 1p mustard, mandarins and adzuki beans! Sure they can use them

    It's okay. Just another Tesco staff member who hasn't been trained properly. ;)
