Thanks mate .i am going to sign up then, as this will save me 48 pound a year which is not to be sneezed at .

I have rolling 30 day contract with o2 I can switch to pay as you go to get out of this and then have my number ported .I assume this would be the best way of doing this .

Or just contact 02 and get a PAC code and transfer it straight away when you order your T-Mobile sim.

Hey does anyone know if you can use this with an Iphone?

I am nearing the end of an 18 month contract with Orange and was looking to go PAYG.

However might grab this deal as its basically the same as what I am paying Orange £35 a month for atm.

Guess I will have to get my phone unlocked? although T-Mobile & Orange are the same company now so it might be ok

You can use it on a 3G iPhone as the SIM cards are the same however if you have the iPhone 4 you will need a micro sim which you can easily cut to size from a standard sim card if you have the correct sim cutter.

I'd call Orange if I were you. I have been meaning to do it for ages but today's post forced me to do it. Got a much better deal (admittedly I'm on SIM only now) and really chuffed with it. Just tell them you what you have found online and see if they can beat it. Good luck.:beer:

Out of interest what deal did they offer you if you don't mind me asking?

£5 a month for unlimited texts and 100 mins. £5 extra if I want to add internet. I'm currently on £15 a month with 150 mins and 300 texts. I hardly call but do a text a lot so PAYG is no good for me.
  • for anyone after texts and internet tescos are running their 250 minutes, 5000 texts and internet for £10 rolling contracts again

I've gone over to them last time they offered something like this as most networks said they couldn't get close to this deal. Buying a good new phone every 2 years sim free on this contract saves me loads instead of going for a normal contract

I have signed up for the 6 pound deal and have opted for unlimited lanline minutes booster .Now what i would like to know is if I ring a land line will it use up my 100 minutes and then become unlimited or will they not come out at all for any land line calls ,also is there any restrictions on the so called unlimited land line calls .

    thanks

The landline calls will come out of your unlimited landline allowance and your 100 minutes will be used on Mobile calls. I don't believe there are limits on the landline calls however fair usage will apply which you can see on the T-Mobile website.

I have never had any problems with T-Mobile's 'unlimited' deals - I have 500 text messages included in my contract and also the free bolt on of unlimited text messages - My allowance of 500 always remains the same when i view my online bill as they are taking the allowance from my unlimited text allowance if that makes sense?:rotfl:
