Depends on the reason for coming!
Emergency? They can come in straight away.
Routine inspection? At least 24 hours written notice is fair (more is better), though much depends on the LL/tenant relationship. With a good relationship, a phone call and negotiated/agreed convenient time is fine - 1 hour notice IF that's mutually convenient.
But I suspect you are wanting to deny/limit the LL's access, or insist on your rights. If the re-arranged Tuesday is not convenient, ring and tell him so, and then confirm that in writing. But ideally offer an alternative that IS convenient to you.0 -
            Thursday is convenient to me.
Tbh any other place or scenario i wouldnt give a monkey !!!! about it. But this is my room, everything i own is in here and id really just like to be around when they do go snooping about for their routine check up.One years target for mortgage deposit:

Then tell them so. But as I said - confirm it in writing. You can refuse access if you want (asuming your are a tenant), or specify when it is convenient for you.
You say 'room' - Are you a lodger in the landlord's home? Or is this a HMO?0
