Tesco - Glitch - 40% off clothing instead of 20%

oh on the positive side I finally found some health and beauty vouchers - some were placed singly in trolleys and some at the pharmacy counter too

I called at my local tesco extra tonight. I bought DH a shirt and few other things. Went to self scan and noticed that 40% had come off. The young lad cashier said it had been 40% all day - and I should go tell everyone!! I wonder if he knew I frequent this board!!

the 20% finishes on 3rd December this weekend - I got 20% off at the till last time but combined with the blue clothing vouchers it's a great deal

Well I know I was whinging about the clothing episode the other day and as all my vouchers were cancelled, then rescanned I wondered if I'd get the correct amount. Anyway, I was delighted to discover that I have in fact been given double the amount of points so

every cloud really does have a silver lining
