We had the same, every evening from about 8 till 12. OH was working abroad so it was a hard time. Like everyone else we tried almost everything. Dr Browns bottles, drops, dark room, lying over lap, lying over shoulder (odd but she could get comfortable if she had her head half way down my back), stretching her by holding her under her shoulder with my thumbs hooked under her shoulders & the rest of my hand supporting her head & lifting her up, rubbing her sides, rubbing her tummy (think it was clockwise you should be doing it but look it up - or someone will post, as it encourages the air to come out)
Hope some of that helps x0 -

DS had bad wind problems, although I never really referred to them as colic as he didn't have the long bouts of crying.
However I tried lots of things to try and help out the poor little mite. As some others have suggested, we found the Dr Browns bottles to be well worth the money (I was reluctant to buy them at first).
I also used infacol before every feed. It takes a while for it to be effective, but I found after a few days then it was really helping out.
I also did some research about probiotics and got some of them, although by the time I found out about them he was about 6 months and his wind problems were nearly over (sadly although we were lucky and didn't get the bouts of crying, he was up A LOT in the night for about 6 months mainly due to trapped wind). I bought them from here

We had the same with DD1, 4+half months of screaming. It got so bad we ended up at the hospital one Saturday night as we didn't think it possible that a baby could scream non-stop for 5 hours without something being very wrong. We too tried most of the things suggested, including dentinox. Nothing really worked, we even tried cranial osteopathy, though I know a lot of people have had much better success stories with this. We took it in turns to do the 'colic dance' as we called it throughout the day/eve, sort of a status quo type dance without the guitar moves!!! we faced her outwards with one hand on her tummy and this did seem to help more than other things. DD2 has lactose intolerance which is different. If he has explosive poo's or pain after every feed, I'd suggest going back to the GP and asking for a referral to a paediatrician, or I think most health visitors can do a referral. Good luck really hope it improves soon.x0

People generally assume its colic but it needs checking by a doctor, which none of us are.Reflux is another uncomfortable condition that needs ruling out.Best get it checked.“Love yourself first and everything else falls into line.
