Before i start i shall just say i hope the following makes sense as i have just got my head around it and now am panicked and confused!!!
I started working for a local housing provider in April 2007. the post i applied for i was unsuccessful in getting but i was offered another job as this was vacant also. I obviously agreed as salary was ok etct etc. At the time i was naive, and didnt understand or ask why the way i was employed...heres the confusing bit;
i was offered the post as a secondment, as they proposed i would be employed by them on a 0 hour relied contract, but my secondment post would be 35hrs a week.
I have continued to work for the same company, tho my role has changed but i remain to be on a secondment from the 0 hour permanent relief post.
I have found out today that i am getting made redundant in 4 weeks
.
i have been told that as i am seconded i will get no redundancy as i have a permanent post, but obviously the permanent post holds no hours and i have no chance of gaining any as the relief staff already have their foots in doors for any spare hours if you see?
Help?

What hours have you been working each week?0

So you were recruited into a post and immediately put on secondment? Did you even do one day in this other post? Seems very fishy to me.
I would speak to ACAS and seek some legal advise. It is worth checking your company's redundancy policy to see if they are required to provide any form of financial package for legal cover.
Also check your house insurance to see if you have any legal cover on that which could be useful.0
