Could a kindly soul help out please.I can`t find the way to lengthen the duration of the ringtone on my new mobile.At present it rings for about 10 seconds and then goes to voice mail.

  • I do not think it's your ringtone thats the problem! I think 10 seconds for voicemail to cut in is about average. Personally I hate voice mail, the person calling you pays to leave you a message and most of the time you have to pay to listen to it. If you do not need it then a check in the instruction manual should show you how to cancel it, if not contact customer servces.

    The time before diverting to voicemail can be changed using standard GSM code as shown here. The maximum delay is 30 seconds.
