Returning to UK

I will be returning to the UK in August after 10 years abroad. I have been driving my husbands car during this time. Before I start the process of trying to find the cheapest insurance does anyone have any suggestions. I am 50 yrs old and have been driving for 27 years. Prior to leaving the UK I had a company car so have no insurance history. Thank you.

get a letter from your husbands insurance explaining your claim free driving record and them hawk it round the insurance companies/brokers until you find someone who'll play ball0

I've heard that Tesco is really flexible about immigrating/returning to the UK and getting inexpensive car insurance. I was just reading a bunch of posts that say "I don't like Tesco, but when it comes to car insurance, they got it right." etc. etc.
So that's the word going around!0
