need somewhere cheap but nice to eat near waterloo?

Hi, I am down in London tmrw for business and so is my mum, and we are catching the same train back, but we are going to have a few hours to kill so we want to maybe go for something to eat. We will be meeting in Waterloo and making our way to Euston, can anyone suggest a good place to eat? Mum doesn't like spice etc so a nice bistro place would do nicely. All recommendations gratefully received

If you wander down towards the London eye there are quite a few restaurants by the river, giraffe, wagama and pizza express from memory (there may be more) - maybe check out and see if any vouchers on here?

There are a few places on gabriel's wharf just along the river as well, always good for a mooch, a bistro place and pizza place last time I was there. You should be spoilt for choice tbh.
