Do i have any rights? 2nd Hand Car.

Hi,

If anyone can help me or point me in the right direction I would really appreciate it.

I purchased a car - Seat Leon Cupra - (£2.5k) at a nearby used car garage. I started looking in early December and saw this car. I was told that is was having the turbo replaced and would be fine later in the month. I was busy over christmas but bought the car mid January after test driving it.

Last week i noticed a leek below the bumper from right and put it into my local garage for them to have a look at it. They now tell me there is a serious problem with the turbo and it needs replaced at a cost of about £800 including labour.

I now realise that this must just have been patched up to sell to me and i have fallen for it.

Does anybody know if I have any rights in this situation?

thanks in advance...

Alan.

First port of call is the place you bought if from....they may be nice! I'd also post over in the motoring board for a wider range of answers.

    Part of the Furniture
Take the car back to the garage you bought it from.
