Ok for my profile on CV???

I use bullet points for key skills and then key achievements in each role, then I use a paragraph of text to describe the role in more detail.0

Call it what they will, I think most people who sort any volume of CVs generally put them into three piles:
1. The 'I definitely want to interview these people' pile.
2. The 'Hmmm, these are worth keeping in reserve in case things don't work out with the people in the first pile' pile.
3. The 'Fruitcake' or as I call it the 'You're Having a Laugh' pile - the ones who, for whatever reason have absolutely failed to convince you that there is anything worth pursuing in their application.
I would also say that if I received an email from someone, without a CV, simply referring to fate and having resigned from their last job because of stress without having another job lined up, then no, that person wouldn't be placed into pile 1 or 2.
Luckily for you it wasn't me that received your email, so all may not be lost. But perhaps there's a lesson in there for next time. As a general rule, if something in your application COULD be interpreted in a negative way, it's probably best not to say it.0 -
OP did you get the job?
