Hi everybody,
Im new but thought i would sign up and have a chat about my experiences and what (if anything) you would recommend i do from here.
I am a rapid response driver for the ambulance service in york and got into quite a lot of debt, to the tune of 43,000 pounds through having a baby, and then having to redo the house etc.
I got a company called Carbane Insolvency out of the ambulance's own magazine and gave them a call. They seem to have done the trick for me and everything is working out well. I was impressed with the speed.
However, is there anything i need to do from here from anybody who has done all this before, or do i leave it all to Carbane?
Im looking forward to getting this rubbish out of my life, has been such a pain for ages.
Any tips?
Thank you in advance!
John

Hi John, basically you just need to keep your IP in the loop if there are any changes, or you earn overtime etc (as the IVA will want it's share). A lot depends on how proactive your company is --- technically, it is YOUR IVA and it is up to you to see it runs smoothly. So any questions at all .. ask ... and keep making the payments, stick to the agreement and await your first review. Your IP will tell you what he / she wants (but some, apparently, do need a nudge now and then).
Best of luck on one of your slower journeys.0
