Raffle prize ideas
Hi all,
I was just wondering if you might be able to help me with some ideas of who to apporach for raffle prizes.
I know 'local businesses' are a given- although I wonder if they might be in the position to give anything away free in this current climate?
I'm climbing Kilimanjaro for the charity that I work with and am holding a tea party after the royal wedding (figured most people would like to get together to discuss the dress!).
Also, has anyone any advice on how to approach it? I guess the main thing is to say what's in it for them (publicity via twitter, facebook, the actual event etc).
Thank you!!
Kaz

Most big companies have there own charities they donate to, but I have found that if you request a sample of there products some will oblige, I then make hampers full of the samples to raffle off.
Try to get Days out, local Zoo, play barns etc.. most of these are more than willing, as people spend whilst there, return and tell their friends.0 -
Oooh! Good advice about the day out idea- helps we're on the south coast (or, I'm doing it at my parent's on the south coast!).
