With a Hotmail address ha ha!

Just ignore them. Also ignore anyone else who contacts you offering you a loan. They will all come out with the same waffle about being 100% guaranteed.

Nothing is that important you have to make a decision immediately, they will often try to pressure you into making an instant decision just to get your account details. When you get one of these calls, just make a note of the company name and come back and post.

We will "out" them as scammers in most cases.

    Dear Dele,

Thats no problem at all. We are a new branch of swift loans finance. Our original offices are in marble arch. We are still working on our website, therefore it doesnt have our new address or contact number. The website for our london branch is swiftloansfinance.co.uk. I hope this is of some help.

They use Hotmail for email?!? :rotfl:

Turn around and slowly walk away. Don't look back.

There's no loan. All they want to do is scam you out of £80.

    Ah right ok,

I wanted a loan so Instead for just accepting what my bank were offering I'd thought I'd shop around for a better rate.

Applied for Zopa but didn’t get accepted? then Zopa forwarded me to this another company who then said they would pass on my details and Since then I have received contact from this company..

I don’t know whether they can obtain my banking details from my original zopa application.

The ask to me send a cheque of £80 and forms of I.D. To secure the loan which was at 6.5% apr.

Could you guys who seem to be very well informed what steps I should take to protect my identity.

They could of also made it look a little bit more realistic by giving you an APR of around 10-15% say, but to be turned down from a lender and another lender just come along and offer you the best APR on the market of 6.5% is just ludicrous..

But these companies seem to just keep going, so there are defiantly plenty of mugs out there ready to be reeled in.

    Theres a surprise.

I clicked the Online Payment link which goes to Nochex

    http://www.swiftloansfinance.co.uk/Online-Payment.html
The account you are trying to send money to is no longer active.

They also scam by the name of Onecallloans with an equally impressive website
