    Morning everybody.
Thanks Josie for getting us going.
Hugs to Stitchy, hope today goes ok, try not to stress too much.
    Happy Birthday Starnac:beer:
Today I have a whole day off work (bit of a rareity at the moment!)
I had a nice lie in then got up to take my car into the garage for an overdue  service and general look to see what some of the strange noises are! Definately not gonna be a NSD but I need my car as part of my job so it is worth it to me to keep it running well.
As I have no car todays plan is really just to mooch around the house and relax. Really should try and tidy up a bit as I go along though but i`ll see how I feel later, feeling a bit lazy at the moment.
Will take dogs out soon, some fresh air might perk me up a bit.

Good Morning All - Happy Monday ;)

Hugs to all those that need them and here's to a great week for everone.

I had a very frugal weekend with the boys whilst OH was working all weekend. Had a lovely picnic yesterday with them by the coast and they behaved beautifully (thought I must have been dreaming!). However the dog spoilt the day by bolting off across the field, and across the road into the car park - she wonders why I get cross with her!

    Today I have/will:

Put bread on in BM - DONE
    Hang washing out - DONE
Put another wash on - DONE
Hang more washing on airer - cold and cloudy today :(
    Load/unload DW - DONE
    Check online banking - DONE
    Check freecycle - DONE
Check unpaid cashback from Quidco - DONE
Update finances for rest of month - DONE
Order best friends new baby gift
Send off bf's new baby card - DONE
Sort through old baby clothese for her
Find OH's P60 & my docs to send off to OU for funding
Sign up to race for life
    Run with the dog
Check out charity shops - need dressing up outfit for DS3 birthday this weekend - DONE BUT NOTHING THERE
Try and start making a superhero outfit for DS3 out of spare material - wish me luck - I am not v good at sewing!! :o
Make OH packed lunch for late shift - DONE - OH MADE HIS OWN
Start DS2's homework (he has been given loads)
Make scrummy roast chicken and use up veg b4 it walks out of fridge
    IRONING!!!!

    Take care y'all. Keep sparkling.

    Morning all

Thanks to Josie for starting us off.
Fingers-crossed Stitchy that today is OK
    Happy Birthday to Starnac :bdaycake:
Chin up Candy we will get there in the end.

    Today I will:
    • [STRIKE]Walk to work[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Post Ebay Items[/STRIKE] - our two mp3 players that we found made about £20 each, decluttering was definitely worth it. I had forgotten that we even had them :o
    • [STRIKE]Eye test[/STRIKE] - everything is fine. Was going to pay for a couple of new glasses but the assistant was so rude and asked for a deposit without telling me the total. That I decided against it.
    • Check bank balance
    • Check surveys
    • Charge mobile and ipod at work
    • Homemade lunch
    • Walk home
    • LSD - get essentials from shops
    • Dinner from stores
    • CV and covering letter

    Have a great day everyone
    xx

I have a urine infection :(....so like can't be bothered to go to the docs just yet but in so much pain don't know if much will get done today :( anyhow I will try...

Head is a lot better after going back on the cigs on Friday though it took a few days. And I only have about £60 for this next week (£30 will have to go on cigs)...so yeah...skinny budget LOL...However I will manage and like not go into the overdraft...

Hope everyone is well. Accidentally blew over £5 on whoopsies yesterday because my gastritis was so bad..

I'm going to get referred to the smoking cessation worker @ the psych hospital and see if she has any bright ideas re quitting the cigs but right now I just need to catch up on chores :)

At least I got a yoghurt maker for my efforts (minus the thermometer )

    So yeah that's me

    Blessings

    Hi All,

Thanks for the sympathetic ear, feeling a bit better (I will blame hormones!)

Will make more of an effort to be kind to myself and make the most out of my life as it is now rather than wasting another moment thinking what if?

Och sorry you're feeling so rotten Candy...To be quite honest I didn't exactly read the posts prior cos I'm feeling rotten with this urine thingy and like now have to wait in for GP to phone :(

So this is today's agenda :). I've already made some cards :)

    * Ironing
    * Read up on Eager learners

    * Card make and write to sheena & TD

    EVE
    * typing tutor
    * Bethany for tea
    * Let the boys out for a run
    * Evening routine

and I've been looking up alternatives to CC Cleaner for eager learners for mac and I found one :j and it's free (why does so much stuff for mac COST!!!) - onyx....only it said there was a prob with my system volume when I know there's not so like put that down to a bug or something :)

So yeah...just looked at the FP for lunch (believe it or not I've not had lunch yet ) and realised it needed cleaning

Also I phoned like the second hand shop re my Bosch washing machine cos it still grinds on anything above a 1000 spin (on the drain) so like they are coming to look @ it on Thurs. It's still under warranty and I'm not going to let it go the way of the hotpoint - that was playing up from word go and I let the warranty slip - bad move :(

Afternoon all, thanks for starting the thread Josie, must admit I looked quickly at 7.30, couldnt see it, but didnt have much time!

Stitchy - hope you had a good day x
Candy - been there done that, sometimes its easy to think that other people have better things/lifestyles etc, but the grass isnt always greener, and you've been married for 10 years, some people dont even make 2!! We've been married 13 years this year, our honeymoon was 4 days in Edinburgh & was fabulous :)

    So far today I have:

    - checked online banking, moved some so could get petrol
    - got petrol at Tescos (cheapest plus cc points)
    - back at work after week off - bleugh
    - Packed lunch for me & DH
    - DDs at my mums, collecting soon
    - Planted lots of seeds - tomatoes, lettuce, carrots, beans, peas, sunflowers & nasturtums (sp!)
    - hokey cokey in progress
    - Heating still off :D:D

    Still to happen/do:

    - ironing (double bleugh)
    - tea from meal plan (spag bol - yum)
    - collect DDs
    - hoover through/tidy lounge
    - hang up rest of washing
    - competitions
    - put away piles of clean washing as no-one else does
    - make a small list of jobs for DH as he is home with DDs tomorrow morning ;)
    - Burn 2 CDs of our photos from the wedding last week to send to family

Phew, think thats enough for a Monday! Have a good evening everyone x
