Monday 11th April - What small DFW things will you do today?

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free :money:
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important.
Morning all!
Couldn't quite believe no one had started the thread yet?! Mum should be up at least??? Didn't post very much over the weekend as had so much to do in the garden wasn't really worth writing a list both days!
Todays list:-
- Checked banking
- Submit purge sales and work out take-home pay using free app
- Snacks from stores/colleagues birthday cakes :rotfl:
- Do some surveys
- 1 x HC to run over night tonight
- Wii fit tonight
- Charge phone on work PC
- Catch up with friend back from Thailand in person, not via text!
- Do freezer audit
- Meal plan
- Check CC balances
- Research free/cheap things to do with family next week :T
Have a wonderful sparkley day everyone!

• Breakfast and dinner from store-cupboard
• Used railpass to get to work
• Read newspaper online

Morning all,
Josie - Thanks for starting us off.
Stitchy - Hope today isn't too painful for you!
Candy - You'll get there don't worry, just keep at it! Anyway you never know they may not be as happy as they make out, they could be paying for it all on credit & when they start struggling to pay it all back they could lose it all.
Starnac - Happy Birthday! Hope you have a lovely day & your colleagues are extra nice to you
Hmm, odd not to see Pixie or DNMS by now...hope they're ok!

Had another poor night's sleep and so am very tired and a bit grumpy.
But I have things to do and so can't dwell - best to get on with things....- Check banks
- Stick to diet - yesterday was much better but still trying to get back on track after the weekend's excesses
- Go to library and take old books back and pick new ones
- Walk dog lots
- Maybe do new exercise DVD if it arrives
- Do at least one load of marking - just one week of holiday left and lots to do
- Make all food from stores
- Stay in tonight and try to get some sleep
- Clean bathrooms
- Do one load of washing and dry naturally

Morning everyone.... Monday
Hugs to all that need them and well done to those that have had DFW weekends!
I'm pleased to say my car passed its MOT with no problems, which I'm very surprised about lol. But now I can put away a bit more money for moving out which is great. Speaking of moving out, the date is coming a bit further forward so I'm happy!
Things for the day:-- Check online banking
- Re-work budget for millionth time!
- LSD - Need some cleansing wipes for my face as the ones I've got make my face come up all blotchy
- Put my head down and work today and ignore my boss at all costs (sounds bad but had a run in with him last week as he swore at me under his breath and I had a go back, so going to do my own thing this week)
- Check emails x all 3 accounts
- Try to sparkle!
- Drink copious amounts of Pepsi Max (was on offer!) in hopes it will give me energy
- Did free exercise this morning walking dog
