I'm getting 2 new sofas & am thinking about scotch guarding them.
I did as the company I am purchasing them from if they offered a scotch guarding & they didn't.
Is it easy to do this at home? & what products are recommended for this purpose?

The chemicals used in the ScotchGard stain-resistant products are said to be carcinogenic.
Google "Perfluorinated Compounds" (PFCs)0 -
We had our sofas done and it didn't seem to work. Others may say it did for theirs. It may depend on the fabric?0

Thanks for the replies.
I think I'll just buy a decent fabric cleaner for any possible, but hopefully unlikely accidents.0
