Move to Scottish Power?

Had the visitor from Scottish Power yesterday......comparison with current supplier NPower looks very favourable.
Anyone have any observations re moving to Scottish Power and current tarriffs.
Given comments in other threads re 'impartiality' or lack of on comparison sites, any other providers worth looking at?
Thanks

Scottish Power online tariff is probably the cheapest they do. You have to manage the account online but they do respond to emails.
Try Energyhelpline for a comparison site.

If you do choose Scottish Power, switch via the Quidco site for maximum cashback.

in my experience the comparison websites may encourage you to switch to the ones that they get commission on, but they will give you all the providers quotes that they know about, and their information is usually accurate.
The one thing to look at are discounts that are only applied annually eg direct debit discounts, dual fuel discounts, online discounts as if you swich suppliers again or move house before the year is up you would probably not get the benefit of the discount
I would use the comparison websites, but check the individual tariffs just to make sure
and quido and uswitch is a good combination......Indecision is the key to flexibility0
