Happy Birthday MsGnomey, glad you are having a lovely day.

I've done some weeding in the front garden and send DS3 with the weeds around the corner to friends with chickens and to buy some more eggs for a bit of baking later - think I'll make a quiche too.

Washing on the line, kids in the garden.

Just having a cuppa and then I need to water the leeks so that I can dig them up.

    Happy Birthday, msgnomey!

DS2 and enjoyed mooching around our little town and market. We had a drink in the re-opened cafe which is now a lot less pricy, he came home with a dragon picture to colour in and I caught up with all the changes to little shops around here. I really should shop locally more often - but then had to text DH for some chilis and ginger, as I coudn't get them around here. He works a couple of minutes away from the bigger market in town and may just find the time.

Have decluttered a late lunch and will finish with a cuppa and something sweet before getting on with some jobs. It's been a nice but not very productive day so far. Aiming to start HHC at 15.15 with the next load of laundry to go out.

    Hi All

Sorry I have been MIA for so long .. things have been conspiring against me & life just got a little too difficult :o

I under-estimated how much losing Diva was going to affect me  she was one of my best friends & I miss her so much .. luckily I am fortunate to have a great relationship with her OH & Tris & we are in touch regularly :A

My CT scan results were not what I was hoping for & I'm awaiting news from The Royal Marsden on that.

And I have been in a long legal battle with my sister concerning my Mum's will .. the upshot of that is I can't afford to fight her anymore financially or emotionally, so I have to sell my house .. consequently I'm moving in 5 weeks time

Hopefully that goes some way to explaining my absence .. thanks to all my lovely flylady friends who check on me by text/FB etc & special thanks & love to Jinks who really has kept me going thru all this ... love ya babe :kisses: :iloveyou:

I haven't caught up with the thread but love & hugs to all & welcome to any newbies.

    xx

been swimming with DD this morning, and done some work in the kitchen and hung up the wet washing.

Had a job interview this morning
    Think it went ok:j
when they asked why they should give me the job, I said because I am fabulous at it;):rotfl:
The hours would also mean I should be able to keep on my night time job as well:T

lady-liberty - love and hugs to you, and the very best wishes for your house move.

    Happy birthday Mrsgnomey!:bdaycake:

Hi vivw!! Have a good holiday.

In here on false pretences - I have a streaming cold, and have done no flying again....I know it's nothing serious, but that's four consecutive weeks of not being well. Have to up the vitamins I think.

I had a text from DS2 - in Russia atm - he had a bit too much to drink last night (they must have smuggled it in, as he's too young to buy in the hotel), and drank a glass of tap water, and is being sick today. After a gentle reminder from me, he did get around to telling me that he's been having a fabulous time, seen the gremlin (sic) and it's cold and snowing...rolleyes2.gif
