Done for a break, back is killing me, cleaned the hob, oven (:o ) and microwave, have the oven racks in a black bag in the bath with some soap powder - will leave them for an hour or two.

Gonna chuck the kids out into the courtyard in a bit and get on with some serious cleaning as most of yesterday was spent painting the bedroom. It was difintintely nice waking up in a purple bedroom as opposed to magnolia mind. :)

I am in a cleaning mood now that i have had a lie in and already managed to get on top of the fiddly accounts jobs that needed doing. :)

:wave:To Soappie, Dusty, Hex, embb and Toots. I've been trying to catch up a bit but there's no hope really. I didn't know you were moving Toots but it sounds like it went OK.

I've done my washing up in the garden and I've done a load of hand washing in the bath (that does wonders for my back....) but it's a nice day and the washing is drying pretty well. I've been turning it round and up and down regularly to help it dry and I think it should do OK. Hopefully by the weekend my washing machine will be back in action.

Still lots of drilling and sawing and banging here. Virgin man came and replaced the cable box so we have television again now. He said not to unplug it again if we go away - and we thought we were doing the right thing!

I vacuumed the living room and hallway this morning but it's a bit of a wasted effort really.

Hope everyone's OK, will try to get up to date now. Hope Lady L isn't doing too badly.
  • Ooooh busy list for today. OH is out in the garden and probably will be all day. I've also got a couple of application forms to work on. I must declutter a coffee first :)

(((Hugs))) for shelleysue and  to vivw and pollybear. Lovely to see you again
