Lastminute.com bargain! Will they honour the price?

I got a mega deal on Lastminute.com for a ski trip for £49.
I made a booking via their website which was made legitimately for a ‘Guaranteed availability’ holiday. It was accepted and confirmed, by Lastminute.com on behalf of the Tour Operator.

My booking states’ Holidays are booked from an allocation held by us with the tour operator. You have a confirmed reservation - bookings are NOT subject to availability’

The tour opearator has emailed me to tell me this was a data input mistake.

Anyone else had this too? or know how we stand legally?

i have them all the details, but they haven't taken payment yet

    Invoice states this:
    * lastminute.com is acting as an agent for this holiday, you will be charged directly by the supplier. For added security, please have your payment card details with you (including the 3 digit security code) as your tour operator will need them to re-confirm your holiday.

I've had a message stating its 'Confirmed - NOT subject to availability' and the invoice says 'Re-confirm'
  • I found this in there terms & conds.... But it also says My contract is with the supplier not Lastminute :

We will do our best to correct errors and omissions as quickly as practicable after being notified of them. However because of the sophisticated technology that is required in operating lastminute.com there may be times when obvious errors occur. For example, very occasionally, this may result in a price, product or service or other detail displayed or presented on a Channel being incorrect. In this case we reserve the right to cancel that contract, but this of course will be without any liability to you.

    Confused !!
