Does it happen when you have a bath or shower?0

I doubt it, he made it sound like it only happens occasionally, and there's 2 of us here so that'd be 2 showers a day...
I'm thinking maybe dishwasher, we only have it on maybe 1-2X a week? He was really invasive, we told him we didnt have any leaks and insisted he come in to look for himself *sigh*0 -
wouldnt have let him in personally0

Did you go to his flat to see where it was coming in?0

Needs more investigation first.0

Nope. AND OMG!! He just called our landlord? No idea how the hell he got his number, but I find that really rude. The flat below has been for sale since we moved in, so surely the estate agents would've said something? The landlord is coming over right now, even though we told him that OH is getting up at 4am and needs sleep (he's a bus driver and needs to leave at 4:30) but he insisted he come over right now. Ridiculous. I'm so angry with the guy downstair. GRRRRRRRRR0

If you have got a leak that you are unaware of then it could be doing all sorts of damage - bet to get it sorted sooner rather than later.
Hope you OH gets his kip xSome days you're the dog..... most days you're the tree!

You COULD refuse to let the lanlord in, but far better to ge this sorted. The LL is doing the right thing. If a leak in the flat he is responsible for maintaining is causing damage downstairs, he needs to sort it. Luckily it sounds like you have a good LL who takes his responsibilities seriously.
If you deny entry to the LL, or his or the downstairs guy's contractors, and further damage is done by water damage, YOU could be held responsible.
It is in everyone's best interests to find out where this water is coming from.0 -
Well it's definitely not here. I was just really upset how the guy downstairs handled the whole thing. We told him we'd call him tomorrow. Yet, he still got his number and called him to come out now? And it's the first time we've heard anything about it. AND it's not even anywhere near our kitchen/bathroom, its the wall like 30 feet away from our kitchen (we checked the waste pipe that the kitchen goes through)...i think that's what he said? haha.
I'm just really annoyed by the way he did it *sigh*0
