What a difference between the monkey and the organ grinder!!
Have been dealing with a letting agency for the last week and half. I have called 4 times regarding an application we have made. The first 3 times I only managed to speak to the guy who does the viewings and all I got out of him was "everything looks good" then tells us we'll have an answer in 2 days. The 4th time I actually got to speak to the manager who informed us that the landlord hasn't made a decision yet and because of that she hasn't done the checks yet! So all this time 'viewings guy' has been fobbing me off, letting me think it was all going through without even checking on the status of my application :mad:
