cheap brown wrapping paper?

I often send large items which dont fit in envelopes in plain brows wrapping paper, but cant see too many places which sell this stuff.

at the moment i'm buying a roll from WH Smiths for £1.99, does anybody know where to get the stuff for cheaper as i'm sure it must be available somewhere. cant find it in any pound shops.

Why not buy it off Ebay? That's what I do plus you can use your Paypal funds to buy it.

I usually buy mine from Wilkinsons they have large rolls of brown paper for 69p!

thanx but I think the WH Smiths paper is same size, so works out 10p cheaper than the link you have given, havent seen them cheaper on ebay anywhere else on eBay so thats why i asked.

I get large sheets of good quality brown paper for 30p per sheet from a local shop and they can do 4 or 5 large items depending on the size. I buy good quality do to it being a bit more hard wearing than some of the cheaper ones about and is ideal for sending things with RM. I have only ever had one parcel ripped and it was cheapo stuff I was using right at the start.

Try your local DIY superstore for cheap wallpaper lining paper - just as tough and often works out cheaper.

Try packaging suppliers in Yellow Pages or your phone book who will be able to sell it cheaply in larger rolls than you can lift. You do need to check the quality as some is much better than others. Ikea used to have it for customers to use at their shops - not sure if that's still available.

I get mine from Osbornes office supplies shop near where I live - I think they run a catalogue too though.

They charge 99p for a roll 4m x 750mm and I buy a couple at a time. I find I can store this amount too very easily - any rolls very large and I wouldn't have room!!!!

Sorry have ran out of mine so can'tcheck exact size but I'm sure it's around 4m.

Get mine from partners and it's 25m long by 50cm wide, it's really thick and good quality so tend to use less as don't have to double/triple wrap.

Think it's £5.99 but will check
