Renault Scenic 04-05, save £100's if your dash fails.

My wives Renault Scenic (04) digital dashboard display failed last week with everything going blank.

We had this repaird at our local Renault dealer within 48hrs for just £100.00 (inc vat).

If your Renault Scenic is between the years 04 - 05 (only these years) and your display fails, go to Renault. They are aware of this problem and will replace your dashboard display for just £100, instead of the usual £700-£800 cost.

started in 2008 but last posted on last month, AFAIK it isnt limited to the 2 years you mentioned

A better soloution...
We have an 05 Renault Scenic 2 that had the dash display computer replaced twice, once by Renault, and once by a shady chap that ajusts mileage, the first time we lost our mileage record, it's gone again but this time we had been told about a company that repair the fault and give a 5 year warranty ICS 02871 301023, they where very helpful indeed.
