Have been trying to submit starting meter readings this last week. No feedback until today when I got this classic email...
"Dear Sir
Thank you for submitting your meter readings online of 25631 for Gas and 187 for Electricity for your Energy account.
Unfortunately, our system couldn't process your readings.
We would be grateful if you could attempt to submit your meter reads again online etc. etc...

Which begs 2 questions:-
1. if you really are "experts" why can't your system handle my readings?
2. Tim, you've quoted my readings in your email; could you enter them please?

At a guess the industry reads do not agree. It may be that you have had a meter exchange which has not updated on the industry database. I would just give them a call.Self Employed, Running my Dream Jobs0
