Booking this far ahead will probably get you the cheapest prices but you may find that in (say) April the carriers change their flight schedules for the following months.
This could just involve only an hour or two either way but also could involve cancellation of some schedules.
We went to AUS with QANTAS (no choice-cheapest ticket) and they altered every one of our 11 flights, some by more than 12 hrs.
Agree with the above if possible DO NOT FLY BA\QANTAS.0 -
What a nightmare that must have been. The airlines have it all their own way don't they? We want to visit Singapore on the way to Cairns, so I think the choice of airlines is limited.0
