Morning chums, one load of washing on the line and another rumbling in the machine .All potato's peeled for the week and in a long tuppaware box in water .All my unpacking done and put away what needed to go and its not yet 9.00. Smashing holiday and terrific scenery. We went up to Great Malvern and what a spectacular view there is from the top of the town.Managed to buy some nice material for my spare room curtains only £12.00 for 4 metres which is more than enough as I have long thin windows .Where I live there are few material shops at all and the ones there are seem to be quite a lot dearer than that.On our last day we went to Worcester Cathedral what an amazing building it is Very impressed ,the shopping was good there as well.brought home some lovely lamb to go in the freezer and some delicious sausages for my DD. I had a great welcome from the boys last night when I went to dinner and the little guy never left my lap bless him.He told me very indignantly that it had been 'a whole seven days he hadn't seen me' and 'it just wasn't right'.This afternoon we are going to the country park with the dogs as the weather is glorious at the moment .Eldest DD is due this morning for coffee which will be nice .I am going with her on Tuesday up to London to see Phantom of the Opera (a christmas present ) and to have a nice lunch out so that will be a nice day out .
Wednesday I have my mammogram check up as I see my surgeon in June for my three year check up but I feel o.k. and am not worried about it at all.Hope you are all having a good day and the spring sun is shining upon you all.
Nice to be back again
Cheers JackieO
p.s. had a lovely nights sleep in my own bed ,nothing like it when you come home from your hols0 -

Morning all,
Another glorious day here:T, long may it continue
Want to get the lawns done this morning, will get OH on the job, he is out at the car boot at the moment but should be back soon, wouldn't mind a wander around the afternoon boot sale later on, so that will please him.
We did not have the pork belly strips yesterday, as we took a picnic and went out walking, so I am going to cook them later today in the bbq sauce, crisp them under the grill, and put them into bagettes, which we will wrap in foil and take them as a picnic to the beach :T at tea time, we can also take the kite, which Little dog loves chasing around
DD is off out with her dad, but will be back at 5, so we will shoot straight to the beach then, most of the day trippers will have gone home by then.
I also want to ask OH to get the bikes out of the shed and check them over, dd and I are going on a bike ride with another picnic tomorrow:D
Sistercas, ouch your poor back, take it easy xx
Have good days all xxxx
meant to say fresh duck eggs for breakfast, courtesy of my friends ducks :T0 -
Morning all
Another beautiful day here
a little hazy but less windy than yesterday.
Another one up far too early for a Sunday, but I never sleep in so it shouldn't be a surprise!
I'm watching the F1 now but will shortly head out on the balcony to catch some rays and read a book
. I only get the sun til lunchtime so gotta make the most of it!
This afternoon I think I may go and see a brand new flat show home. Heard one advertised on local radio yesterday that does the Homebuy scheme (I'm not in a position to buy normally as prices are too high here
). I drove past yesterday and the area looks lovely, and it's only 5 mins away. I have done some sums and a mortgage would be cheaper than my rent. But it's all in the dreaming stage at the moment so probably won't happen, and I need to think bout stuff. Plus the flats are inland so no sea view
boo! :rotfl: But I might as well take a look.
I may go to Tesco too (I know I've said that for weeks! :rotfl:) as I have to drive more or less past it to get to view flat. And maybe pop to the shops too.
Really should do some uni work today too, but it seems criminal to do it when the weather is so lovely!
OS wise - WM been on and laundry is drying on balcony. DW will go on tonight. I made big salad/beetroot salad/potato salad yesterday, with enough for today and lunch tomorrow so that's one meal sorted today. BM may go on after I've checked freezer to see how much is left there.
Have a great Sunday all

Morning All
DH and DS still snoring and DD is at her BF's so I am having a lovely quite morning.:)
More washing on the line and the last load in. Loving being able to get it all on the line
Still having problems eating but managed a little scrambled egg this morning and will make some more soup for lunch time. Dinner tonight is roast beef etc - mine will be mushed up.
Have lost 6lbs since Thursday which is a plus, but this sort of diet is a bit drastic .
Forecast is for cooler and wetter weather next week so I will have to cover my seedlings up.
Have a lovely day all xBlessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

Morning Folks,
Sounds like there were some lovely days had by you all yesterday.
Today we are going to my Mum and Dad's to pick up the littlies and have dinner. Then at 6pm we are going to look at a house.
I am going to try and clear the kitchen this morning so we actually can get to the WM, DW, cooker etc,
DH was going to put the Landy up on ebay on Thurs, for 3 days, for spares or repair. Guess what!!
Hope you all have lovely days.BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0 -
