How do i lift a upvc door off a flag hinge?

I need to remove the front upvc door for the delivery of fridge/freezer. The door has a upvc flag hinge as shown below

from what i can gather from searching the net i should simply open the door and lift it up. The door should slide off. I tried it but either the door is very heavy or there is something preventing it from lifting. Don't want to use force.

Can anyone give some advice?

If you can't lift it off then just unscrew the hinge from the frame.

The hinge will just lift of if you open the door to 90 degrees and you have enough head room to clear the hinge pins(approx 2").Otherwise open door on back of hinge (between door and frame) is a screw undo it that releases the front cover and you can get to all the fixing screws and adjuster.

On my front door, the hinge is such that the door cannot be lifted. There is a hinge pin that goes in from the top. This pin is secured in place by a small grub screw. When the grub screw is removed the hinge pin can be levered out and the door can then be slid out of the fixed part of the hinge. have a look for a small hole with a screw in it.

aye. on some hinges there is a secret grub screw. its an anti vandal measure.
on some doors, you have to open the door 90 degress to reveal it.
others have a small cover plate.
