renault Laguna rear wiper arm

i need to adjust the rear wiper arm on my Laguna 56 plate. The arm is dropping to low and the blade going on to the top of the bonnet. Problem is i don't know how to get the arm off! I have lifted the cover and removed the nut but the arm won't budge. Does anyone know how to get it off please? Does it unscrew? or does it just pull off? I'm too frightened to put too much pressure on in case i damage the arm or the rear windscreen!:(
