Left luggage Manchester

Hi guys the wife and I are going to Manchester for a presentation and have decided to stay over . We are staying at the Travelodge unfortunately the Travelodge operates a no left luggage policy. As we are going on the train we need somewhere to leave our luggage because we are off for some retail therapy the next day.
The train station (Victoria) also operstes a no left luggage policy.

Does anyone know where we can leave a couple of coveralls for an afternoon???

Seemingly there's one at Piccadilly Station. It will mean a walk or taxi ride between the stations though.
