Lloyds have Transferred Credit Card Services from Brighton to Edinburgh

I have just noticed on the statements the address is Edinburgh and no longer brighton, now my bank account is held by Lloyds sort code 30-65-41 (London) which was Lloyds bank and I understand will be again when the TSB bit is dropped.

But I was taking to a member of staff in a branch yesterday (Was old TSB branch is Scotland) and they said all credit cards opened in Lloyds TSB branches with sort codes 87 & 77 will be rebranded as Bank of Scotland cards.

Is this true as I would rather keep my Lloyds TSB duo cards as Bank of Scotland does not do this type of card, although I am hoping I will still have a Lloyds card as my sort code was 30.

If those branches are in scotland then it probably will be rebranded as there all the same group although i cant see the terms etc changing if anything BOS will probably start a duo card scheme.

    Not that I've heard……
Can I find out my credit score?
You do not have a single credit score or rating. Different organisations take different information into account when working out your credit score and may have different scores for different products. (Kindly from Experian)

I did notice a change recently when I telephoned LTSB about my airmiles duo card. The first person I spoke to was in Bridgend, Wales and the second person I spoke to was in an office in Southend on Sea.

I had not telephoned them for a long time but I always thought the calls were answered in Brighton. They were always really friendly when you called. I think Brighton was the base for the old TSB Bank.

I know my Halifax card statement had an Edinburgh address on the back of the envelope for "if undelivered" purposes. I think their credit card centre is in Dunfermline.

Still, at least the calls are still dealt with in the UK! :)
