Cheap Cars to Insure
Options
I'm to take my driving test soon, and so naturally I'm thinking about what will happen after I pass (whether I pass this time or on a subsequent attempt). One of the big concerns for a new driver is, of course, how extortionate the insurance is. I'm 25, so the situation isn't as bad as it might be, but it's still bad. Now, you can't move for comparison sites these days, and it's always a good idea to shop around. But I'd like to improve my chances a bit further: can anyone offer some advice as to what kinds of car are cheap to insure?

Anything small - even better if it's not the most popular small car like a Fiat Panda, Kia Picanto, Hyundai i10, etc.0

http://www.parkers.co.uk/News/News/New-insurance-groups-explained/ car insurance used to be grouped in a 1-20 model with 1 being the cheapest but it is now a 1-50 model. The link above lets you look for particular cars and where they sit in the new style of categorisation.
http://www.insurancesos.co.uk/articles/group-insurance/best-ins.html This link still uses the old system but has cars in the old groups 1-3If you always do what you have always done, you will always get what you always got!0
