Leagrave is just a suburb of Luton, not particularly inspiring but does have its own station. Luton is the largest town in the Luton/Dunstable/Houghton Regis conurbation (avoid HR, not very nice).
It does depend on what you are looking for, large town, small town, village, easy access to station or motorway. Can you give us an idea of you want from a place. If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0 -
Born and raised in Luton and still here now. Leagrave isnt the best part of Luton but nor is it the worst. Its best asset is the railway station and if that is very important then Leagrave would be ideal. If you dont need the station at all then there are other areas in Luton that are better eg Wigmore/Stopsley, Warden Hills/Barton Hills, Limbury, Bushmead.
Stopsley is where the airport is and has great access to the M1. Let me know where else you're looking and i'll try to advise.0 -
Thank you both for your replies. I think I need to re-think this through again before deciding on an area.

Oh and if the train line is important just move up the road to Flitwick instead of Leagrave (IMHO).0
