external media player hard drive ???

Hi Calvin, my name is John. I own 8 external drives and have at one time or another lost the information on 4 of them. My understaning is because usb drives are constantly writing and reading and creating a log and if it gets bumped or accidently unplugged at the wrong time, there is a good chance you will lose all the data on the drive. There is a player called "My Buddy" that is supposed to play any tme of Audio/Video file you put on it. Plays 1080p video and ranges from $92.00 to about $195.00 depending on the seller. Right now they are very difficult to find as soon as they come in they are sold. Anyway might not hurt to look it up. Good luck. I am looking too.
