That said i shouldn't be too harsh, most gamblers i've encountered have MH problems its rife amongst them. I hate to see people not getting the help they desperatly need to overcome their addictions. its rife amongst them. I paid my National Insurance and have a right to ESA. I worked hard until the pain was too much and I collapsed last year. I like working. I don't have mental health problems. Please don't preach to me about people in need :):) 0 :):) 0

you have a right to benefits, as does everyone else.
those beenfits are to feed, clothe and put a roof over your head.
if you have more than you need put it back into the pot for someone else that needs it.
i have seen this happening all my life.
i grew up with gambling and we never had enough food on the table, now i am an adult and my mother is a pensioner.
and now she cant believe how much money she has compared to bringing kids up on benefits.
instead of going to bingo, gampling on horses.
bang we now have the national lottery and scratchcards for pensioners to spend their "spare" money on
everyone can now walk into their local newsagents and buy a paper and a scratchards.
it makes me sick - give it bback if you don;t need it.
and i feel the same towards my mother. there are too many bendeifts going to too ffew individuals.0

Oh yes I need it. I can pay the tax man. I have loans I am not able to pay, I could do with paying off part of my mortgage so I can afford to pay the interest and I could do with better food. I will do anything to avoid CCJs. I don't need electronic goods and household items but could do with some new clothes.
They are there to help and don't get upset if you have a bit extra to survive on as long as it's not over the limit. People are not expected to be losers just because they receive support for a disability.
Spread betting is an investment. I used to invest in shares and CFDs (contracts for difference). Spread betting is easier because you don't buy the underlying stock. Some people use it to gamble. Others use it to invest. I have made gains because I made wise investments. I don't make wild bets on what might happen tomorrow and I put stop losses on to ensure I don't lose too much if I make a mistake.
I have made perhaps 100 bets over the past month and my gains are consistent and based on substance and not simply luck of the draw.
I would have spent that £500 anyway by now so if I lost all of it I wouldn't have lost anything. It is highly unlikely I would lose all of it. I might lose some of it but it is reasonable to expect to be better off than when I started.
Don't get sick. I am the one who is not well at the moment. Wish me luck!0

Quit while you are ahead.[greenhighlight]but it matters when the most senior politician in the land is happy to use language and examples that are simply not true.
 [/greenhighlight][redtitle]
The impact of this is to stigmatise people on benefits,
and we should be deeply worried about that[/redtitle](house of lords debate, talking about Cameron)0
