How can you tell if your ceiling is suitable for halogen spotlights?
My neighbour upstairs has them throughout her flat but theyre on the top floor!

gently tap on the ceiling, with your knuckles. it should sound a bit hollow.
modern type (post war) flats with concrete floors/ceilings are generally a no no for built in spot lights.Get some gorm.0
