Cccs - iva

Hi
I am at the drafting process of an IVA with CCCS. I did a lot of research into who I chose before applying but I wanted to ask everyone if they had any feedback, good or bad? Have I made a good choice? Are their fees really reasonable? How well will I be looked after? etc.
Thanks

  • Hi, I am also with cccsva. Sent proposal back last week so just waiting for creditors meeting date coming through now.

I think their fees are just average, same as most other companies. They seem to be ok so far with me. Really helpful each time Ive spoken to them

Hi. Most of the companies fees, these days, are "set" by the creditors -- if the IP asks too much, it gets driven down at the creditors meeting. They seem to set around £1750 - £2000 for nominees fee and then 15% of payments for supervisors fees.
  • Thanks all
  • Hey, we are with the ccsva. What fees are being charged i dont really think makes any difference because as long as the creditors agree to them thats that.

The main thing is that your IVA is excepted and that you have a realistic budget to live off so it works for you.

    good luck

Hi, i'm with CCCSVA for my IVA which was accepted on Thursday of last week and have found them to be really easy to deal with, nothing has been too much trouble for them to sort out. Hope all goes well for you, i know how concerned we were in the run up to the creditors meeting that things would go bad but to be honest once our iva was accepted it felt like we had been given a fresh start even though we know there could be rocky times ahead.

    Good Luck again.

It is the after care that is more important with these companies, 5+ years of dealing with them. Would be interested if anyone had thoughts on that

I always though CCCS were not an IP/IVA firm and referred you on to someone else, has that changed now?
There are 10 kinds of people that understand binary
    Those that do
    Those that dont

You are quite right Althas.... it's a 5 year relationship, so you have to be happy with the service,

CCCS have a sister company CCSVA who deal with simpler IVA's -- anything complicated ( self employed etc) they tend to pass on to Grant Thornton.
