Just read the spec on argos site and it will play mp3s.

I've not had an iPod but i think it needs the iTunes software to transfer files but these can be ripped from your own CDs, downloaded [cough], etc, rather than having to be bought from the iTunes store.

I had ordered the new 1GB from John Lewis this pm for £45. Used a £10 off discount code. Have just canx it though and reserved this instead. The new 1GB is soooooo small . Its not much bigger than a sim card. As I am buying it for a child I decided this was much better value and less likely to get lost!!

Just saw it on a flyer in the newspaper, reserved one for pick up tomorrow, grumbled a bit because it's still not as cheap as the ones that went for £19 (which I missed), found £3 in gift vouchers and cheered up a bit and then came here to see if it had been posted already (of course it was). :rolleyes:
