I've just done a quick sum.

£9,000, repayed at £1 a month, would take 750 years to clear. :rotfl:
I refuse to be afraid of the big bad wolf, spiders, or debt collection agencies; one of them's not real and the other two are powerless without my fear.
(Ok, one of them is powerless, spiders can be nasty.)

As of the last count I have cleared
    [STRIKE]23.16%[/STRIKE] 22.49% of my debt. :(

Its a normal DCA scare letter. Its worded in such a way that you react pretty much as you have, where you have come on here, many others run off and borrow or up there repayment.
And a few people panic so much that they kill themselves. :(

In my opinion, any case of suicide where a DCA has been involved should be treated as a case of corporate homicide.

So that's why Barclaycard are (allegedly!) getting impatient?
